The statement made by Daya Shankar singh has created mess for Bhartiya Janta Party.
Politicians in India are master in making statements. If you , you are familiar with the workings of Indian politics. It is not uncommon for Indian politicians to say something absurd or obtuse. That doesn’t mean that they can never surprise us. Indian politicians are well known for making bizarre statement.
No matter to whatever political parties they belong, they have made statements which will not only surprise you, but also make you laugh.
1-Sakshi Maharaj(Member of Parliamnet, Unnao) – Produce 4 Kids to protect Hinduism
The concept of four wives and 40 children will not work in India and the time has come when a Hindu woman must produce at least four children in order to protect Hindu religion.” he said every Hindu woman must produce at least 4 children to “protect” the religion.
2-Sheila Dikshit(Ex-CM of Delhi) – Rs 600 is enough to feed a family
Sheila Dikshit once said, “Rs 600/month enough to feed a family of 5”. Rs. 600 per month means Rs. 20 per day. Now if there are 5 persons in a family then everyone gets Rs.2 per one session! Only one thing you can get in such amount and that is toffees.
3-Rahul Gandhi(Vice- President of Indian National Congress)- Made in Mirzapur
When it comes to making funny statement, Rahul Gandhi always manages to be at the forefront. In a rally at Mirzapur in UP, he said “I want to see a day when the American president is asked: ‘Bhaiya, what is the time?’ He looks at his watch and on it is written ‘Made in Mirzapur’. He then asks his people: ‘Where is this Mirzapur? These youth of Mirzapur are snatching jobs from American youth. Where is this place?”.
4-Mulayam Singh Yadav (Chairman- Samajwadi Party) – Galti ho jati hai…..
Belonging to the stalwart Samajwadi Party from UP, he didn’t shy away from making insensitive remarks. After the ‘Nirbhaya’ rape case, when the country was enraged and demanding death sentences for rapists, he had the audacity to say, “Boys will be boys, they make mistakes why hang them?” leading to massive outrage amongst people.
5-Satyadev Katare (Congress Leader, Madhya Pradesh )- Teerchi Nazar…..
“Jab tak mahila tirchi najar se nahi dekhegi, tab tak purush use nahi chedega” (No man will harass a woman till she looks at him in a suggestive manner.)
Don’t worry. After this statement, we’re certain every woman in your life must have ignored you as their eyes must be busy looking at the floor in shame from being associated with you.
